July 4th Vail America Days

July 4th festivities are in full effect in the Vail Valley! Fireworks are planned (weather dependent) on July 3rd over Nottingham Lake in Avon and in Vail on July 4th! The Vail America Days Parade kicks off at 10am and runs through Vail and Lionshead Villages. This classic, colorful parade features floats, marching and brass bands and of course, the one and only Vail Precision Lawn Chair Demo Team (you really have to see it!). Arrive by 9am for a good viewing spot, this is a very popular event. At 2:00pm head to the Gerald R Ford Amphitheater for a patriotic concert performed by the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, in town for the Bravo! Vail Valley Music Festival. For the best seats, tickets are available starting July 1st at 8am in-person at the GFA box office. Limited tickets will then be offered online at 11am at bravovail.org and on July 4th there will be free lawn seating available on a first come first served basis (gates open at 12:30pm). To end the night right, a traditional fireworks show is planned to begin around 9:45pm. Fireworks will be launched from Vail Mountain and will be visible from all across town. Listen to the show soundtrack on the radio or stream KZYR 97.7. Happy Independence Day from Vail Spa!
