The Vail Film Festival kicks off today through Sunday at the Cascade Theater and the Cinebistro in Solaris along with several other events throughout the villages. Four day festival passes start at $50, you can also volunteer for the event. On Saturday at the Vilar Performing Arts Center there is a free screening at 4:30 for The Eagle Huntress a tale about a 13 year old’s epic journey. For more information click here

Vail Film festival is going on it’s 14th year and takes pride in being noticed by renowned filmmakers and actors alike, while providing an opportunity for new talent to make a name. Independent films allow for original and unique expression from both actors and filmmakers. The composition of the festival also provides a special, more intimate experience for viewers, bringing culture, talent and opportunity along.
