What is Mud Season?

As we trudge through what the rest of the country calls "spring", the Vail Valley and surrounding mountain towns endure "Mud Season." Vail Film Festival

The Vail Film Festival kicks off today through Sunday at the Cascade Theater and the Cinebistro in Solaris along with several other events throughout the villages. Four day festival passes start at $50, you can also volunteer for the event. On Saturday at the Vilar Performing Arts Center there is a free screening at 4:30 for The Eagle Huntress a  tale about a 13 year old's epic journey.
