The Vail Dance Festival returns for 13 amazing performances July 26th-August 5th. Vail welcomes dance companies from around the world, including Limon Dance Company, Colorado Ballet and Royal Danish Ballet, as well as a line up of incredible independent artists (Lil Buck!) that will awe and inspire with their creativity and athleticism. We love opening night on July 26th which provides a sampling of what’s to come throughout the week and a performance by artist in residence Sara Mearns accompanied by the National Repertory Orchestra conducted by Michael Stern. International Evenings of Dance on August 2nd and 3rd are breathtaking crowd-pleasers and be the first to see brand new collaborations and choreography at Now: Premiers on August 5th. In addition to performances at the Gerald Ford Amphitheater, dance your way around town with Dancing in the Streets, refine your techniques in a Master Class and sit down for a conversation with your favorite artist during Conversations On Dance.
Looking for cuteness overload? Bring your 4-7 year old to the Tiny Dancer Tea Party at 10am at The Amp on July 27th (tickets required).
Our pick for spontaneous fun? Don’t miss Limon Dance Company on July 28th at 12pm at the intersection of Bridge and Gore Streets in Vail Village.
Reserve your stay at Vail Spa, official lodging partner of the Vail Dance Festival, and ask about FREE tickets to events (limited supply, don’t wait!). See you at the Festival!
