Coming to Vail Spa for a wedding?

It’s that time of year again, when the wildflowers are in bloom, blue skies are aplenty and the wedding bells are ringing.

For all of you attending or hosting a wedding this season, here are some “do not miss” things to do while you enjoy your wedding week in Vail.

Visit the great restaurants that Vail has to offer, especially the ones with the great decks and views like Mezzuluna and Vail Chophouse for some great view, food and drinks.

Talons Deck is open everyday of the week during the height of summer and allows you and your guests to mingle and enjoy the amazing views of Mount of the Holy Cross.

Enjoy a relaxing afternoon (or whole day) at one of the world renown spas in Lionshead Village and Vail Village.  Many of the locations have great outdoor pools in which to lounge and enjoy the beautiful weather of the Vail Valley.

For a great nightlife, plan an outing with the wedding party and friends at local favorites, Garfinkel’s and The Club, or the tourist favorite, The Red Lion.

One thing to keep in mind is that altitude adjustment that most of your guests will face.

A great welcome gift for your out-of-towners is a simple gift bag containing bottled water, sunscreen, some easy carrying snacks and a “what to do” list while you are here.  Your concierge is a great resource to help you put together all of this information.
